Description:

Our Care Package contains refined Mineral Oil, 250ml, and Natural Wax (beeswax and mineral oil mix), 150 ml. Both the oil and wax are food safe, odourless, colourless, tasteless.  Use them to treat wooden tableware and kitchen utensils that are in contact with food.  Also included is emery paper and sandpaper to remove scratches from wooden boards.

Follow these simple steps when your board looks dry or "thirsty":

1.      Prep & Sand: Ensure your board is completely clean and dry. If the board only has light scratches, just use the fine sandpaper. For deeper knife marks or rough spots, start with the coarser sandpaper first, then follow up with the fine sandpaper for a silky-smooth finish. Wipe away all wood dust.

2.      Oil: Using a clean cloth, apply an even layer of the Mineral Oil over the entire board. Let it soak in for a few hours until dry, wipe away any excess so it doesn't feel sticky.

3.      Wax: Apply an even layer of the Beeswax and rub it firmly into the grain of the wood until smooth. This seals the board and protects it from moisture.

Quick Tip: Never soak your board or put it in the dishwasher. Wash with hot, soapy water, wipe dry, and store upright!
